The Foundation is named for David Campbell, a red-headed, blue eyed little boy. who, at three and a half years old, died from a mitochondrial disease called Leigh's Syndrome.

About Making Donations
When you make a donation to the Foundation, your gift will have an immediate impact.
Because the Foundation has no paid employees and very limited expenses, your contributions will make a significant impact on this disease. The Foundation is a fund of, and receives its IRS Federal non-profit 501(c)(3) status through, the Orange County (CA) Community Foundation. As a result, your contribution is tax deductible in accordance with IRS regulations.
Your generosity will have a lasting impact on many children’s lives. Raising funds for this important cause means that, perhaps, another little child may have a chance. With your help and support, our Wish Upon a Cure will become a reality.
